We had an amazing last day of homeschool!! In the morning we met with a teacher to discuss the learning plans for next year (we’re distributed learners so we get funding and report to a teacher on a regular basis & enjoy seasonal classes with other learners). Then we went to lakeside park for lunch, nom nom nom ice cream truck followed by small riverside walk. Sneak peak at some of our grade 6 curriculum for next year *gasp my 7th year homeschooling!!* . Are we going classical? Not entirely, we always add in brave writer arrows/darts and don’t just read the classics. We’re loving our modern beast academy for math. We’re quite eclectic but we’ve loved fix it grammar so much this year that I decided to venture more into iew & memoria press from @classicaleducationbooks Canada . I’m debating even adding in Latin next year! Brings me back to university biology!
